Ela Pop-Up Restaurant

Ela (έλα), the Greek pop-up run by Ella Mittas and Mon Ditbunjong, is hosting a month long event of greek style feasts at the Gertrude Street Enoteca in January.

The pop-up will begin on January 3rd, and run every day until the end of the month, with more focused ticketed late lunches on every Sunday of the month that will feature set menus.

Concentrating on using quality ingredients and traditional Greek recipes, the pop-up will explore different regions of Greece, featuring dishes from the Peloponnese, Crete, Cycladic islands and Northern Greece, showcasing wines from each region too.

The food is inspired by Ella’s time living and working in Greece, and her time spent working with Brigitte at the Gertrude Street Enoteca where she started her cooking career.

Like the previous pop-up’s, Ela will draw inspiration from Rembetiko the film, with live rembetiko music and a Greek soundtrack curated for the event.
